Whatever riding you like to do, be it city streets, or gravel farm roads, the Discover will get you there and back in comfort and style. We designed the Discover to be lightweight and maintenance friendly. The drivetrain is a 1 x 9 system that eliminates the front derailleur while giving you a wide range of gears in back for tackling the hills. And our 36V 350W rear hub motor will give you all the assist you need. We also made sure the Discover has all the attachment points you need to outfit your bike with fenders, lights, racks, bags, and water bottles of your choosing. We are even providing a front rack to get you started.

Integral to the performance of the bike, the Discover boasts a modern 1 x 9 drivetrain system. The Microshift Advent system has an advanced, smooth shifting rear derailleur with an innovative clutch design. The 9 speed cassette has a wide ratio, 11-42T, allowing you to find the right gear for the right terrain. The Advent shifter uses cartridge bearings in the lever mechanism for better feel and more precise shifts. The entire system is designed from the ground up by Microshift to be user friendly and maintenance light to keep you on the road and riding.

Powerful & Compact Electric Motor
At the center of things is the Hilltopper Discover 36V 350W rear hub electric motor. Small & compact with a high torque to size ratio, this motor provides a sustained 20 mph cruising speed and higher with pedaling. The torque is roughly equal to two soul cycle instructor's combined pedal power. The rear motor also has a built in speed sensor for a smooth transition of power. Hilltopper motors are legendary for their long lifespan and are maintenance free.

Powering the motor is an advanced 11.4Ah lithium battery. The battery is integrated into the down tube for a sleek design and low weight distribution for better handling. It is easily removed for charging and the keyed lock keeps it safe and sound on your daily errands.

Throttle or pedal assist? We designed the Discover to have both so you don't have to choose. The PAS (pedal assist system) gives you 5 levels assist to get you where you need to go. And hey, if the legs can't make it up that hill or you need to quickly accelerate through the intersection, the throttle is there to give you a hand. How fast are you going? What is your battery life? The small sleek LCD screen gives you all the information you need to explore that next bend with peace of mind.

We want to make sure everyone is able to ride that is why we built the Discover in two sizes. The small / medium frame comfortably fits men and women 5'0 to 5'8. The large frame comfortably fits men and women 5'8 - 6'5 and over. With an adjustable stem, saddle, and seat post the Discover easily accommodates many body sizes and riding styles.
