A simple way to add strength to your front fork. But totally optional. Electric bike motors add additional stress on front forks. That is why we recommend steel forks, or adding a torque arm if using an aluminum or carbon fiber fork, or if your bike’s fork is really, really old. Torque arms are not required, but can offer a sense of security by adding increased strength to your bike’s hold on the axle and transporting some of the strain away from the drop outs.

Of course you can mount the conversion kit without the Torque Arm, But I like the reassurance of knowing my investment will stay in place every time I throttle-up!

Easy to install.

The first one didn’t quite fit (due to the cut-out in the metal), but a replacement was promptly sent. Again, I found the instructions and illustration a bit unclear, but customer service was responsive to my questions.

Again delivery was very prompt. I still need someone to install it.

Worked great!

Torque arm installed pretty well (one hose clamp broke). It is either working well or not needed, because no problems. Either way – looks good.

It’s a torque arm! Good to install.

Torque arm fitted well, but the instructions and description to explain it’s purpose are poor.
