Named after the Roman god of safety, the Salus smart helmet is designed for commuters first and foremost with a durable, long lasting design and a clean, minimalist look. Plus lots of blinky lights to keep you visible while on the road.

The perfect balance of technology & battle tested protection, the Salus combines a rugged and durable outer shell with a rear LED light that is built into the helmet and turn signals to indicate to cars which way you are going. Light is rechargeable via a USB plug (cable included) and is waterproof to Seattle in a winter downpour standards.

The Salus exceeds safety standards to keep you protected as you navigate crowded bike lanes and fast-moving traffic and comfort features including venting along the top of the helmet, a dial system for customized fit, and washable padding for a dose of plushness.

Though it boasts an ecologically-responsible construction, the Salus’s main goal is still protecting your head. Hilltopper makes sure it’s more than adequately equipped to do this by heat-molding a polymer into a hard outer shell, then complementing it with 100% recycled Polystyrene inner foam. It keeps you safe, while also reducing the amount of plastic waste and impact on our planet.
